Privacy Policy
How Advantage Coaching LLC handles information on advantagecoachingllc.com, including cookies and ads.
Effective date: October 20, 2026 · Last updated: October 20, 2026
The short version
- This is a business education site for therapists. It is not a patient portal, and we do not want or ask for patient health information.
- We collect what you choose to send us (like your name and email when you book a call or email us), plus basic technical data that websites normally receive (like your IP address and browser type).
- We do not sell your personal information for money.
- We plan to show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads and decline non-essential cookies.
- You can email us any time to ask what we have, fix it, or delete it.
Who we are
This website, advantagecoachingllc.com, is run by Advantage Coaching LLC, a California limited liability company owned by Mason Anglin. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Advantage Coaching LLC. Advantage Coaching LLC provides nonclinical business education and support for therapists. It is separate from Advantage Mental Health, and this policy covers only this website and Advantage Coaching LLC.
Questions about this policy can go to advantagecoachingllc@gmail.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Booking a call. Free calls are scheduled through a Google Calendar appointment page (our booking page). When you book, you give your name, email address, and any answers or notes you type in. That page is hosted by Google, so Google also processes what you enter under Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Emailing us. Some buttons on this site open a pre-written email in your own email app, for example to request a referral invite (such as a Heard invite) or to ask a question. If you send it, we receive your email address, name, and whatever you write. We use Gmail, a Google service, for email.
- What you tell us on a call or by email. This may include your practice stage, license type, location, and business goals.
Please do not send patient information. This is a business support service, not a clinical one. Please never send patient or client health information, passwords, or CAQH or PAVE exports through this site, the booking page, or email. If you send something like that by mistake, tell us and we will delete it.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like most websites, our web host (Namecheap) automatically records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. These logs are used to run, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
- Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To deliver the fonts, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser information.
- Emoji support. WordPress may load emoji images from WordPress.org (s.w.org) if your browser cannot display an emoji itself. That server receives your IP address.
- Cookies. See the next section.
Today, this site does not use Google Analytics or other visitor analytics tools, and it has no contact forms, comments, or user accounts for visitors. If we add an analytics tool, we will update this policy first.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Here is what this site uses:
- Consent cookie (necessary). Our cookie banner (the CookieAdmin plugin) stores a cookie that remembers your cookie choices, so we do not ask on every page. It lasts up to 365 days.
- Site management cookies. WordPress and our caching plugin (LiteSpeed Cache) set cookies only for people who sign in to manage the site. Ordinary visitors do not sign in.
- Browser storage. Our page builder (Elementor) may save small, non-identifying settings in your browser so page features display correctly.
- Advertising cookies (planned). Once Google AdSense is turned on, Google and its partners may set advertising cookies, as described below. These are non-essential, and our cookie banner lets you decline them.
Your cookie choices. When you first visit, the banner lets you Accept All, Reject All, or Customize. To change your choice later, click the cookie preferences button at the bottom left of any page, or clear your browser’s cookies for this site. You can also block cookies in your browser settings. Necessary cookies keep the site working; blocking them may affect how it works.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We plan to show ads on some pages using Google AdSense, which helps cover the cost of keeping this free resource online. Ads are not endorsements, and we do not choose individual ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
- If you opt out, you may still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing history.
- To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Google and its partners receive information such as your IP address, browser and device details, cookie identifiers, and the page you are viewing. They handle it under their own privacy policies. We do not give Google your name or email address for advertising.
How we use information
- To schedule and hold calls, answer emails, and send referral invites you ask for.
- To provide the business support you asked about, and to follow up on it.
- To run, maintain, secure, and fix the website.
- To show ads (once AdSense is on) and keep the site free.
- To keep business records and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added.
How information is shared
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers that help us run the business and site: Google (Calendar, Gmail, Google Fonts, and, once enabled, AdSense) and Namecheap (web hosting). They process data for those purposes.
- Referral invites you ask for. If you ask for a referral invite (for example, to Heard), we send your name and/or email to that company so it can send you the invite. We do this only at your request.
- Advertising partners, as described in the advertising section, through cookies and similar technology.
- Legal reasons, if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfer, if the business is sold, merged, or reorganized. This policy would continue to apply to information collected under it.
Selling and sharing under California law
We do not sell personal information for money, and we have not done so in the past 12 months.
California law defines “sharing” to include letting third parties use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning ads based on your activity across different websites. Once Google AdSense is enabled, personalized ad cookies may count as “sharing” under that definition. To opt out:
- Click Reject All on the cookie banner, or use the cookie preferences button at the bottom left of any page to turn off non-essential cookies.
- Turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings.
- Or email us at advantagecoachingllc@gmail.com with “Do not sell or share” in the subject line.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Referral links and outside sites
This site links to other companies, some through referral links, including Headway, SimplePractice, Gusto, Chase, and Incogni. Heard referrals are handled by email at your request. When you click a referral link, the other company may learn that you came from this site, and we may be told whether a referral was completed so we can receive a referral reward. Those companies collect and use your information under their own privacy policies, not this one. We are not responsible for other sites’ content or privacy practices.
We also link to official sources such as payer, government, and licensing board websites. Those sites have their own policies.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to DNT, and this site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Third parties, including Google, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you visit this site.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser setting that tells sites you want to opt out of selling or sharing. Our cookie tool may not detect GPC automatically. To be sure your choice is applied, click Reject All on the cookie banner or email us, and we will honor it.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, California law may give you the following rights, depending on whether the law applies to our business. Either way, we will do our best to honor these requests:
- Know and access: to ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we share it with, and to get a copy.
- Delete: to ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, with some exceptions (for example, records we must keep for taxes).
- Correct: to ask us to fix inaccurate information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing: see the section above.
- Limit use of sensitive information: we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we do not use it to infer things about you.
- No discrimination: we will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Categories we may collect: identifiers (name, email address, IP address, cookie IDs); professional information you choose to share (license type, practice stage); internet activity (pages viewed and device data in server logs and, once AdSense is on, ad cookies); and the contents of messages you send us. We get this from you, your browser, and our service providers. We use and disclose it as described above.
How to make a request: email advantagecoachingllc@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, usually by replying from the email address we have on file, before we act on a request. You can use an authorized agent if you give them written permission; we may ask to confirm that with you. We aim to respond within 45 days.
Shine the Light: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 lets California residents ask whether a business has disclosed personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not do this. You can still email us to ask.
Children
This site is for adult professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
How long we keep information
- Emails and booking details: kept as long as we are working together or following up, and then as long as reasonably needed for business, tax, and legal records, generally no more than seven years. You can ask us to delete them sooner, subject to legal requirements.
- Server logs: kept by our host for a limited time on its standard schedule for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookies: the consent cookie lasts up to 365 days. Advertising cookies last as long as Google or its partners set them; you can delete them any time in your browser.
Security
The site uses HTTPS encryption. We limit who can manage the site and use accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available. No website or email system is perfectly secure, though, so we cannot guarantee security. That is one more reason not to send patient information or passwords.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes, for example when ads go live. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will also add a notice on the site’s homepage for a reasonable time. Changes take effect when they are posted.
