How this works

Free help, honest recommendations, and hands-on coaching if you ever want it. Here's exactly how each piece works, and how this stays free.

Free Practice Support Call

A one-on-one call, about 40 minutes, for therapists at any stage: associate, side practice, full-time solo, insurance, or group.
You'll leave with:

  • A personalized checklist for your stage
  • A recommended tool stack
  • Your next three actions

Perks before your call (request them on the intake form):

  • 6 months free on Psychology Today — I send the invite manually.
  • 30-day Heard trial — I send the invite manually.

Referral link: I may receive a referral reward if you sign up. It costs you nothing extra, and you get the same help from me either way.
After the call: follow-up questions by email are welcome. advantagecoachingllc@gmail.com

Why it's free

Why this is free: I don't charge for this. Some of the tools I recommend pay me a referral reward when you sign up through my link or invite. It costs you nothing, it often gets you a discount or free months, and I only recommend tools I use or have vetted. You get the same help whether or not you use them.

That's the whole model:

  • Support is free. One-on-one calls, checklists, and answers.
  • It stays free because I recommend tools I use or have vetted. When you sign up through my referral link or invite, the company pays me a referral reward. You pay nothing extra, and you often get a discount, a trial, or free months.
  • Support never depends on using my links. You get the same help either way. The links are simply a way to say thanks if a tool fits.
  • Personalized coaching is available for deeper, hands-on work, if you ever want it.

I'm proud of this model. It means a therapist who's nervous about money can get real help without paying for it.

Personalized Coaching (by conversation)

For therapists who want deeper, hands-on help building specific systems. Examples:

  • Direct commercial contracting and credentialing workflows
  • Medi-Cal enrollment strategy and claims workflows
  • Associate billing and payer eligibility matrices
  • Group roster, payroll, and operations systems

Every practice is different. If you want more hands-on help, we'll talk about what you need and whether it makes sense. There's never pressure to upgrade.
Scope and fees are discussed one-on-one, after a free call.
Boundaries: I teach, build systems with you, and review your workflows. I don't submit applications, call payers, log into your portals, or work your claims. Those stay with you or your team.

Website Build, Hosting & Search Setup (by conversation)

I build and host websites for therapists, set up to be found on Google, Google Maps, and AI search tools like ChatGPT.
You focus on clients. I'll build the site, host it, and set it up to be found.
What's included:

  • A fast, mobile-friendly site with a page for each specialty and location, plus your fees, insurance, license info, and a booking button.
  • Technical SEO: indexing, sitemaps, page titles, and structured data (schema) for your practice, clinicians, specialties, and service area.
  • Content that answers the questions clients actually ask, written in a format search engines and AI tools can read and cite.
  • Consistent listings across Google Business Profile, Psychology Today, insurer directories, and Bing (several AI tools rely on Bing's index).
  • Hosting, security, backups, and updates.

No one can guarantee rankings, AI mentions, or timeframes, and I don't. What I can do is set your site up the way search engines and AI tools are designed to read.
HIPAA-conscious design:

  • The site collects no clinical information.
  • "Book" and "Contact" buttons route to your EHR's client portal (for example, a SimplePractice appointment request).
  • Any contact form clearly warns visitors not to share clinical details.

Prefer to do it yourself or use another provider? That's completely fine. I'll cover DIY builders, WordPress hosting, and therapist-specific website companies on the free call too. See the options on the Tools page.
Scope is discussed one-on-one.

Who this is for (and who it isn't)

  • For: therapists and associates in California building or growing a private practice.
  • Not: psychotherapy, clinical supervision, or legal or tax advice.
  • Not a patient portal. If you're a client or have a clinical question, please contact Advantage Mental Health directly.
  • Current employees and supervisees of Advantage Mental Health can't book, to avoid a conflict of interest.
  • Please never share patient information, passwords, or CAQH/PAVE exports.
