Therapist websites built to get found
You focus on clients. I'll build the site, host it, and set it up to be found on Google, Google Maps, and AI search tools like ChatGPT. Built by a therapist who runs his own practice sites.
Free call. Scope and fee are discussed one-on-one. No pressure, and DIY is a fine answer too.
Everything a practice site needs, nothing it doesn't
How it works
- Free call. We talk about who you help, where you practice, how clients book, and whether a done-for-you site even makes sense for you.
- Scope in writing. If it's a fit, you get a plain written scope and fee. If DIY or another provider fits better, I'll say so.
- You send the basics. Bio, specialties, fees, insurance, license type and number, and a photo. No client information, ever.
- I build and you review. You see the draft before anything goes live and request changes.
- Launch and search setup. Indexing, sitemap, structured data, and listings cleanup, then ongoing hosting and updates.
HIPAA-conscious design
Keep clinical details out of your website forms where possible. Here is how I approach it:
- Forms ask for as little as possible, and clinical details are kept out of them wherever possible.
- "Book" and "Contact" buttons can route to your EHR's client portal (for example, a SimplePractice appointment request).
- Forms, tracking pixels, analytics, and vendors (and whether you need a BAA with them) are reviewed before launch. A warning on a form doesn't stop people from sharing sensitive details, so have a HIPAA or privacy professional confirm your setup. HHS has guidance on online tracking technologies.

What I won't promise
No one can guarantee rankings, Google placement, AI mentions, or timeframes, and I don't. What I can do is set your site up the way search engines and AI tools are designed to read it. Results vary by market, specialty, and competition.
Prefer to do it yourself or use another provider? That's completely fine. I'll cover DIY builders, WordPress hosting, and therapist-specific website companies on the free call too. See the options on the Tools page.
Some tools on the Tools page are referral links. I may receive a referral reward if you sign up through them. It costs you nothing extra, and you get the same help either way.
Website questions
How much does a therapist website cost?
Every practice needs something different, so scope and fee are discussed one-on-one after a free call. If a DIY builder or another provider fits you better, I'll tell you.
Can you guarantee my site will rank on Google or show up in ChatGPT?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, AI mentions, or timeframes. I set the site up the way search engines and AI tools are designed to read it. Results vary.
Is my website HIPAA compliant?
I design sites to keep clinical details out of website forms where possible, and booking and contact buttons can route to your EHR's client portal, which works under its own BAA with you. Forms, tracking pixels, analytics, and vendors should be reviewed with a HIPAA or privacy professional; HHS has guidance on online tracking technologies.
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes. Your domain is registered in your own account, and your content is yours.
Do I need a website if I have a Psychology Today profile?
Yes, eventually. A Psychology Today profile rents you visibility. Your website and Google Business Profile are assets you own.
Can I have a Google Business Profile if I only do telehealth?
Google's rules require a real in-person location during stated hours or a service area. Mail-only virtual addresses risk suspension. Follow Google's current guidelines.
Is this therapy or supervision?
No. This is nonclinical business and technical work. Current employees and supervisees of Advantage Mental Health can't book (conflict of interest).
Let's talk about your website
Bring your current site (or none). We'll figure out the right path, done-for-you or DIY.
